Immobileyes wins AF STTR to develop HALAR™ as a Flashbang alternative

On the heels of our highly successful Design Challenge, IMMOBILEYES was awarded a US Air Force (AFWERX) Phase I STTR (Small Business Technology Transfer) to further develop the HALAR™ Throwable / “Flashbang” alternative concept together with Kent State University's Design Innovation Hub, headed by J.R. Campbell, and KSU Police. Stay tuned for further rapid progress with this dynamic team.

HALAR™ is a cutting-edge non-lethal device designed for military and law enforcement personnel. It harnesses advanced LED optical technology to emit a powerful beam of light that temporarily blinds individuals when directed towards their face. This optical stunner is intended for use as a prelude to more aggressive measures, such as tasers, pepper spray, rubber bullets, or lethal firearms if necessary.
