Immobileyes has advanced to the next round of OFRN SOARING Round 5
We are proud to announce that Immobileyes has made it through to the next round of the Ohio Federal Research Network (OFRN) Round 5 Opportunity Announcement. Immobileyes offers an unprecedented ability to deliver non-lethal intervention through their patented laser storm technology. Immobileyes has advanced through the initial proposal selection process and has been invited to present at OFRN pitch day in early June.
OFRN aims to stimulate Ohio’s innovation economy by collaborating with researchers to create cutting-edge technologies that drive job growth in Ohio. OFRN provides financial resources to research technology commercialization initiatives through the Ohio Department of Higher Education Budget. Through OFRN, Immobileyes has the opportunity to be awarded $1.3 million for their technology’s ability to address a validated federal research need with applications for both law enforcement and the military.
About Immobileyes:
Immobileyes is developing a new laser emitting device aimed at multiple markets including law enforcement, the military and commercial security. The innovative technology uses multiple eye-safe laser beams to cause temporary visual disruption when pointed at a target. A handheld unit is planned to be launched in Q2 of 2022 with drone and wall-mounted security devices in the future.
